
BADUNG, mybalinews.com – Eruption of Lewotobi Laki Laki Volcano in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara have impacted several flight into Bali.
General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Ahmad Syaugi Shahab said on Friday (21/3) that severao flights that have been affected by Volcano eruption.
“However, it is important to emphasize that I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Bali remains operational,” Ahmad said.

As of 09:45 WITA, there have been 7 international flight cancellations, 6 of which are operated by Jetstar Airlines for routes to Australia: Melbourne (2 flights), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Additionally, 1 flight operated by AirAsia to Kuala Lumpur has been canceled.
Regarding the delay, airlines are offering passengers the options of a refund, rescheduling, or re-routing.
Several domestic and international flights have been delayed. For domestic flights, 1 AirAsia flight to Labuan Bajo has been affected, while 5 international flights have been delayed, including routes to Singapore (Singapore Airlines), Bangkok (Thai AirAsia), Kuala Lumpur (AirAsia), Brisbane, and Melbourne (Virgin Airways).
“We will continue to monitor and update the situation in coordination with the relevant authorities and hope that conditions will return to normal soon,” Ahmad emphasized. (mybalinews/ERV)
