BADUNG , mybalinews.com – A Russian man, VS, has been detained for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in Honey Moon beach, Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung, Bali.
The 23 years old man has easily stole the motorcycle that was parked in the area with the key left on the dashboard.
Denpasar Police Chief Sr. Comr. Wisnu Prabowo said on Monday, that the the incident was happened on Saturday, 16 November 2024 at around 10.30 a.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA).
It was reportedly that the victim and his friends came to Honey Moon Beach to take photos at the location. After parked the motorcycle, they left the the motorcycle not far from where the victim took the photos.

However, the victim left the key with the motorcycle, place it on the dashboard.
The victim took photos around the location approximately 10 meters away from the motorcycle.
At around 11.30 a.m. , the victim finished taking photos and intended to go home. However. the victim no longer saw the moptorcyle at the the original parking lot. The victim tried to search around but did not find it.
Due to the incident, the victim reported it to the South Kuta Police Station.
Based on the police report, police immediately held investigation. The investigation is also held by checking CCTV footage along the road near the area.
After obtaining the characteristics of the perpetrator, the team then conducted an investigation in the Ungasan area to monitor the surroundings.
After conducting an investigation, the team was finally able to secure the perpetrator at the perpetrator’s boarding house.
“After being interrogated in depth and finding the stolen motorcycle key, the perpetrator finally admitted to having stolen the motorcycle. Furthermore, the perpetrator and the evidence were brought to the South Kuta Police Station for further investigation,” Wisnu Prabowo said. ( mybalinews/ RLS/ ERV)
