BADUNG, mybalinews.com – A landslide hit the popular cliff on the road access to Tanah Barak tourist attraction in Kutuh, South Kuta on Monday. No casualties reported from the incident.

The incident happened in the morning at around 8.40 a.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA). The cliff becomes a popular tourism area for photos, especially among domestic tourists. When the incident happened, the area still quite.

South Kuta Police Chief, I Gusti Ngurah Yudistira, said that there were no casualties reported after the landslide. The 20-meter height cliff collapsing due to high rainfall in the Bali area.

“There were no casualties due to the high rainfall,” said Yudistira confirmed.

He explained that the tunnel of the Tanah Barak tourist attraction that collapsed has been checked by the South Kuta Police and currently the road access is closed.

“South Kuta Police personnel checked the 20-meter landslide cliff that resulted in the road access being closed,” Yudistira said.
