Getting to Know the Sophisticated CIMB Niaga Digital Branch Now Available in Bali

DENPASAR, mybalinews.id – In addition to its extensive branch network, CIMB Niaga now offers advanced digital services through its innovative Digital Branches.

The latest addition is the Denpasar Digital Branch, located at Jalan MH Thamrin No. 77, Denpasar, Bali.

“We see Bali as a region experiencing very dynamic economic growth and digitalization,” said the Head of the Eastern Indonesia & Bali Nusra Region at CIMB Niaga Ahmad S. Ilham in a statement published on cimbniaga.co.id regarding the new branch’s opening.

The launch event was held on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Adoptting a hybrid concept, new Digital Branch combines the digital capabilities found in CIMB Niaga’s Digital Lounge with traditional banking services. it is aimed to offer customers flexible and efficient services, along with the friendly and personal touch that CIMB Niaga is known for.

Through this Digital Branch, customers can access a range of facilities, including Self-Service Banking (SSB) machines, Safe Deposit Boxes (SDB), Video Banking, OCTO Vending, and the CIMB Preferred Lounge.

“With this Digital Branch, we aim to support the needs of the community and local businesses by providing more practical, secure, and efficient access to financial service, emphasizing digital convenience without losing the human touch,” Ilham said.

One key advantage of the Digital Branch is the advanced SSB machine, which allows customers to independently perform various transactions.

Tasks such as opening a savings account, replacing a card, or updating customer information (CIF) can be completed in just five minutes. This makes the banking experience faster, more efficient, and far more convenient, eliminating the need to wait in long lines.

Additionally, customers can use the video banking service, which connects them with a virtual banking officer for a variety of financial and non-financial transactions. This service operates for extended hours, from 9 am to pm WITA (Central Indonesian Time), providing greater flexibility for those who need to bank outside of regular branch hours.

The Denpasar-Thamrin Digital Branch is the second Digital Branch in Bali, following the launch of the Canggu branch on October 27, 2023.

Since its introduction in 2023, the CIMB Niaga Digital Branch concept has continued to expand into major cities across Java, Sumatra, Bali, and Sulawesi. In addition to Digital Branches, the bank also integrates Digital Hubs within conventional branches to further promote customer adoption of digital banking services.

As of now, 52 Digital Branches are operating across various cities in Indonesia. Looking ahead, CIMB Niaga plans to continue innovating and expanding its Digital Branch network to make modern financial solutions more accessible to all customers.

The establishment of the CIMB Niaga Denpasar-Thamrin Digital Branch have strengthened the bank’s service network in Bali, which now includes seven Conventional Branch Offices (including two Digital Branches), one Sharia Branch Office, one Digital Lounge, and one Mobile Cash unit.
