BADUNG, mybalinews.com – A foreigner have misteriously found dead in a water tank of a boarding house in Jimbaran Bali, on Tuesday (4/3).
Police are currently investigating the case. An unidentified man was found in a water storage tank located at Pondok Ayanakhu, Jl. Bypas Ngurah Rai Jimbaran, Bali.
The homeowner, Nyoman Predangga, reported the incident to the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) at around 1.45 p.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA) . It is believed that the body was a foreign national.

The rescue team coordinator, Bayu Arya Wiraga, stated that the body was discovered when the homeowner was attempting to repair a damaged water tank.
“When found, the man’s body was not wearing any clothes, and the tank was empty. We first conducted an assessment for the evacuation process,” he added.
The rescue team then proceeded with the evacuation, carefully lowering the body in turns. “The access is quite narrow, so we had to be cautious when lowering the body because it was at a height,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, the head of the Basarnas Bali, I Nyoman Sidakarya, stated that the entire evacuation process was carried out safely and smoothly.
“The cause of the incident is still under investigation by the relevant authorities, and the man’s body was subsequently evacuated to Prof. Ngoerah Hospital,” he explained.
