DENPASAR, mybalinews.com – Two natural disaster has occurred in Bali on the first day of 2025.
Bali Provincial Disaster Management Agency (BPBD Bali) recorded the natural incident the two incidents happened in Bali within 24 hours on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
The first incident was a landslide. Three landslides happened in three separate area, namely in Karangasem Regency, Klungkung Regency and Gianyar Regency.
“No fatalities or injuries reported from the incident,” the head of BPBD Bali Made Rentin said.
On the new year, a tree has also collapsed in Gianyar Regency. “The tree collapse did not cause any fatalities or injuries, and no report of damage,” Rentin added.
With the increasing frequency of disasters, the Agency urged the entire community to increase their capacity and preparedness in facing potential disasters, in order to realize a disaster-resilient Bali. (kanalbali/ERV)
