KARANGASEM, Mybalinews.com – Two climbers have been found safe on Mount Agung, Bali’s highest mountain, after two days missing.
The two climbers found save on Friday (27/12) in the active volcano that is located in Karangasem Regency. They are Putu Diki Adi Warta (27) from Mengwi, Badung Regency, Bali, and Ridho Adi Yudistira (22) from Kediri, Tabanan Regency, Bali. Both were reported missing since Wednesday (25/12).
I Wayan Suwena, Head of Operation and Preparedness at Denpasar Search and Rescue Agency, said that the Diki was found at around 9.50 a.m Central Indonesia Time (WITA) at an altitude of 1300 MDPL. At that time, Diki was trying to find a way down and happened to meet someone who was about to pray.

The search and rescue team that had moved from Tunggul Besi this morning, immediately headed to the victim’s position and assisted in the evacuation process until arriving at the post at 10.50 a.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA).
Another victim, Ridho, was found after the team get information from Diki.
“Diki told the team that another lost victim Ridho was around the river near the waterfall. And he complained of pain in his lower limbs. So he could not continue the journey and needed evacuation assistance,” said Suwena.
The team found Ridho at 10.45 a.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA) at an altitude of 1,700 MDPL, and immediately received initial medical treatment as he like suffered fracture in the leg.
“Two victims, one of whom we found in good health and another with fracture in the leg,” he added.
The evacuation process was completed at 1 p.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA) and Ridho Adi was taken to the Rendang Health Center in Karangasem.
Previously reported that joint search and rescue team in Bali have conducted a search for two climbers who were lost on Mount Agung, Karangasem Regency, Bali, on Wednesday (25/12).
The two victims are Putu Diki Adi Warta (27) from Mengwi, Badung Regency, Bali, and Ridho Adi Yudistira (22) from Kediri, Tabanan Regency, Bali.
