DENPASAR, Mybalinews.com – The Bali Tourism Agency announced on Thursday that the travel pattern on exploring the island would be launched in 2025.
The travel pattern is designed to reduce the density of tourists in South Bali.
Head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Agency Tjokorda Bagus Pemayun said that the agency has finished compiling travel pattern for tourists to Bali, collaborating with Udayana University Bali and the Association of Indonesian Tour and Travel Companies (ASITA) Bali.
“We have communicated with ASITA. ASITA just needs to sell it to its partners. We hope that next year the travel pattern will be launched,” said Pemayun at the Bali Tourism Office on Thursday (25/12).

He explained that the Island of Bali is actually not overtourism. However, he said that tourists are piling up in the South Bali area, including Badung Regency, Denpasar City, and Gianyar Regency, Bali.
“This means that Bali is not overtourism. It is over-concentrated. everything in South Bali. From the business activities in South Bali, the traffic jams are in South Bali, including how massive development is in South Bali,” he said.
“So we are trying. First thing is implement moratorium (on hotel and villa development). Second, we have finished compiling a travel pattern, a travel pattern that Bali is not only south, there is east and north and west. And we have finished working with Udayana University to compile a travel pattern,” he added.

The travel pattern will be formed in one package, so that later tourists can visit tourism areas in West Bali such as Jembrana Regency, North Bali such as Buleleng Regency and Tabanan Regency and East Bali such as Klungkung Regency, Bangli Regency, and Karangasem Regency.
In addition, the Ministry of Tourism has also officially launched the 3B or Banyuwangi, West Bali, and North Bali tour packages. This 3B tour package connects tourist destinations in three districts, namely Banyuwangi, East Java, West Bali, and North Bali.
“We have actually been to B3. West Bali, North Bali and Banyuwangi are our national areas and have also been done. We also have the concept of the Bali and Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF) which is an event that has been there since we opened it,” he said. ( mybalinews/KAD/ERV)
