BADUNG, mybalinews.com – Providing a comfortable and enjoyable journey to all airport visitors, PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia presents the joy of Christmas at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.

Decorations resembling a typical 3.5-meter-tall Christmas tree appear towering amidst the crowd of passengers.

The christmas tree ornament is designed while still upholding the wisdom of Balinese culture, namely made of lamak, sampian, woven, sokasi, and dulang arrangements.

There are also Christmas tree decorations complete with colorful lights and balls, red ribbons, gift decorations, deer and pinecone ornaments, and of course the figure of the Christmas legend, Santa Claus.

All decorations bring excitement, warmth, and the joy of Christmas to all corners of the airport.

General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Ahmad Syaugi Shahab revealed that presenting excitement of Christmas at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is a routine program.

“Thematic events such as Christmas and other celebrations are always carried out to continue to build better interaction with airport service users by creating a customer experience, especially at special moments like this,” said Syaugi said in a statement on Wednesday (25/12).

In accordance with this year’s Christmas theme, which is joyful Christmas and new year starts with you, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport also held various activities and entertainment specifically presented for passengers and visitors of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, such as Christmas parade dance, acoustic performances, choir, blower box game where passengers get the chance to win a lucky draw, and what is interesting for children is the moment when Santa Claus distributes Christmas chocolates to passengers and airport visitors.

On the same occasion, the figure resembling Santa Claus also distributed vouchers presented by airport business partners for passengers to enjoy various culinary delights available at the departure terminal. All of these activities will last for 2 days, December 24-25, 2024.

“During the peak season of Christmas and New Year, where the airport is crowded with passengers with an average of 72 thousand passengers per day, this Christmas themed activity is expected to present a joyful Christmas atmosphere and a memorable travel experience that exceeds passengers’ expectations. We hope to provide a pleasant first impression for passengers who have just landed and end a pleasant holiday for passengers who will return to their hometowns,” concluded Syaugi.
