DENPASAR, mybalinews.com – The Bali Police have officially named an Australian man over the recent brawl erupted at Bali’s popular beach club that the video went viral on social media.
The Australian man has been detained for assaulting security guards at the beach club.
Bali Police spokesperson said that police has named MR, a 28 years old Australian man for assaulting security guards at Finns Beach Club.
“Based on the results of the investigation, statements from witnesses, and evidences, Bali Police investigators from Criminal Investigation Directorate have named one suspect, MR, a 28-year-old Australian citizen. He is now detained at the police station, ” Ariasandy said in a statement on Friday night.

Police has also freed four other Australian that have had questioned by the police. Police explained that the other Australian were questioned as witness.
Related to report made by the Australian man to the police, that claimed that he was attacked by the security guards, Ariasandy said that police also investigating the report.
Ariasandy said that police have seriously handle both report from the fight incident between several foreigners with security at the Finns Beach Club, North Kuta, Badung, that went viral on social media.
The police report in the name of MR, 28 years old Australian citizen, has now being handled by the Badung Police. Related the report, police has also conducted investigation. Police has questioning at least 4 witnesses.
“Police investigator will questioning 11 other witnesses on Monday,” Ariasandy said.
Earlier reported that Bali police are investigating a brawl involving foreigners at the popular beach club in Bali that has been recorded and went viral at video social media. The incident reportedly happened at Finns Beach Club, on Jalan Pantai Berawa, Tibubeneng Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.
In the incident, four security guards injured and some were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. (mybalinews/ERV)
