
BADUNG, Mybalinews.com – A Spanish woman has been deported from Bali and now banned from entering Indonesia after conduct photo session at Geger Beach, a popular beach in Nusa Dua area in Bali.
The 24 years old woman was arrived in Bali in February 2024 with a visiting visa that had been extended until January 6, 2025.
While in Bali, she did various vacation activities, including a creative photo session at Geger Beach, Nusa Dua, involving a local photographer.

Although she admitted that the activity was only for personal pleasure, CGJ admitted that she received an offer of payment for the photo session.
CGJ admitted that she did not have a valid residence permit to do such work and stated that she did not know that her actions violated immigration law.
Based on the investigation, CGJ violated article 75 Paragraph 1 of Law No. 6/2011 on Immigration. The Ngurah Rai Immigration Office decided to process the deportation of CGJ who was also placed in the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center.
Acting Head of Denpasar Immigration Detention Center, Albertus Widiatmoko, said that the deportation action was part of the intensive efforts of the Immigration Office to enforce law and order in Bali.
“The violations committed by CGJ is an example that there is no tolerance for violations of immigration laws,” said Widiatmoko.
Based on regulation, CGJ will also be included in the black list and is banned o enter Indonesia in certain period.
“As regulated in Article 102 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration, deterrence can be imposed for up to six months and can be extended, and lifetime deterrence can be applied to foreigners who threaten public security and order. The final decision regarding deterrence will be made by the Directorate General of Immigration after considering aspects of the case,” concluded Widiatmoko
Head of the Bali Law and Human Right Agency Pramella Yunidar Pasaribu emphasized that the foreigner supervision team will continue to increase supervision of foreign nationals in Bali. ( mybalinews/TIM)
