Marine Safari Bali, the newest tourism destination on the island

GIANYAR , mybalinews.comAfter a long wait, Marine Safari Bali will soon open in Gianyar. The soft opening is planned to be held on December 27, 2024.

“We will offer the first and only marine tourism park experience in Indonesia,” said Laetitia Delvart, General Manager of Taman Safari Bali on Monday (12/23/2024).

Located in next to Bali Safari Park, the new tourist attraction will offers a journey through freshwater ecosystems in rainforests, lakes, rivers, estuaries, coasts, and the depths of the sea.

“We also provide unforgettable interactive experiences, including the opportunity to explore and interact with marine animals such as sharks,” he said.

There is also an educational program designed to raise awareness of the importance of preserving marine life, while highlighting breeding programs.

This is an initiative that supports the reproduction of species, especially those endangered or vulnerable.

The program is conducted in a controlled environment and the captive-bred species will be released back into their natural habitat to maintain and increase the population to maintain marine diversity.

As part of its commitment to conservation, Marine Safari Bali is equipped with a Marine Conservation Area.

This modern facility ensures the highest standard of care for all its residents and makes Taman Safari Indonesia become the leading marine conservation center in Southeast Asia.

“Here, visitors can interact with various marine life, including stingrays and sharks,” said Laetitia.

One of the main attractions is Varuna, the first underwater dining theater in Indonesia.

Its theatrical performances highlight the impact of plastic waste in the ocean and through its stories, visitors are invited to take real action in protecting the marine ecosystem.
