Narcotic raid founds alleged sex party by foreigners in Canggu

BADUNG, mybalinews.com – Several foreigners in Canggu have allegedly conducted sex party in their villa. The alleged sex party was found by officials during joint narcotic operation led by Bali Provincial Narcotic Agency (BNNP Bali) on Saturday (21/12).

The joint operation was held by the the Bali Provincial Narcotics Agency (BNNP Bali), with several related institution including the Bali Police, the IX Udayana Military Police, and the Bali Provincial Public Order Police (Satpol PP).

The narcotic raid jointly held ahead of Christmas and New Year celebration to surpress drug trafficking in Bali.

The narcotic operation was targeting clubs and villas in Canggu area, that had previously been mapped by the Agency’s intelligence team based on tip off from the community.

“This joint operation is not to scare or disturb the comfort of visitors or tourists. This activity is solely a form of supervision of drug abuse and illicit trafficking,” said the head of the BNNP Bali, Brig. Gen. Rudy Ahmad Sudrajat, in a statement on Sunday (22/12).

When the team targeting one of villa in Canggu area, they apparently found a situation that allegedly a sex party has just been conducted at the villa.

Due to this incident, the team hav conducted a search involving K9 or sniffer dogs and random urine tests. The test found that 8 foreigners have been proven positive narcotics.

“In addition, during the search, suspected narcotics were also found in a clip containing white powder, a package of brown powder and a package of dry leaves suspected of being marijuana,” he added.

Two foreigners, out of 8 foreigners who tested positive, were arrested for further investigation. The event manager and 1 foreign national who tested positive for THC and the others are still being investigated and will later be conveyed to the media.

“Based on these results, the suspects and evidence suspected of being narcotics were taken to the Bali Provincial BNN Office for further processing, whether they were involved in narcotics crimes or or drug users,” he said.

“Hopefully through this operation, entertainment venue managers and villa owners as well as local village officials can protect their environment from the illicit circulation of narcotics. So that the community can be protected and saved from the threat of narcotics,” he said. (kanalbali/KAD/ERV)
