BADUNG, mybalinews.com – The ocean is changing faster than ever – and so must we. Climate change, plastic pollution, and unsustainable development are already reshaping coastlines, livelihoods, and the future of tourism and communities.
This is why Bali Ocean Days 2026 returns with one central question: how fast can we move, and who moves together?
Bali Ocean Days brings together business leaders, scientists, innovators, investors, community builders, NGOs, and storytellers under the theme “Navigating Solutions for a Regenerative Ocean Future.” This year’s edition features 24 speakers and 12 Eco-Showcase innovators presenting solutions that are already working – from circular waste systems and community-led ocean protection to new models of collaboration between business, technology, and finance.
Created as a place where ideas turn into action, Bali Ocean Days focuses on solutions that work, funding that helps them grow, and partnerships that last – especially for those building businesses and initiatives around sustainability and impact.
A highlight of the event is the presentation of the Sky Blue Sea Trophy of Honor to Sir David Attenborough, linked to his landmark documentary Ocean with David Attenborough. The award will be received on his behalf by Mr. Toby Nowlan of Silverback Films.
Bali Ocean Days 2026 will also host a SEA-MaP Business Matchmaking Side Event, supported by the World Bank, to help turn ocean and plastic solutions into real, bankable projects.
Bali Ocean Days 2026 takes place on 30–31 January 2026 at the InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran. Registration is now open at www.balioceandays.id and Megatix.
