
BADUNG, mybalinews.com – The Badung Police are investigating the death of Australian toddler, JAE, after a tragic incident happen during the family Bali holiday.
The three years old little girl from Campbelltown Australia allegedly died after drowning in Bali villa pool.
Badung Police Spokesperson Second Insp. Putu Sukarma said that investigation underway for the incident that occurred on Thursday (16/1) at around 1.06 p.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA).

“We have collected information from several witnesses regarding the incident,” Sukarma said on Friday (17/1).
Sukarma said that the incident happened in a villa on Jl. Beraban, Kerobokan Kelod, North Kuta, Badung Regency.
A witness Rian told police that he had seen the little girl standing at the edge of the villa swimming pool on Thursday afternoon at around 12 a.m. WITA.
The villa staff said that he came to the villa where the victim’s family are staying, to ensure that the victim’s family had checked out. The victim’s father however said that he had requested an extra 2 hours of time.
Extra Time
Rian called another staff Adista to confirm the victim’s father’s request for extra time. Since the request was legitimate, the guest was granted an additional 2 hours, Rian then left the location.
Before leaving, Rian saw the victim standing at the edge of the villa’s swimming pool, on the shallow side of the pool. Rian said that the victim did not use any safety device (life jacket or etc).
Another villa staff Adista told police that on Thursday at 3.28 p.m., the victim’s family sent a message via the AirBnB app, informing that the victim’s father reported the victim had fallen into the swimming pool
. In the message, they informed that they are currently at BIMC Hospital. The message also stated that the child had passed away.
Immediately after the incident, the victim had rushed into the nearest clinic at d’Square Medical Clinic in Seminyak. When arrived at the clinic, the victim was unconscious, and immediate first aid was provided by checking all vital signs with an oximeter.
She was later taken to BIMC Hospital and was later pronounced died. ( mybalinews/ERV)
