
BULELENG, mybalinews.com – A Balinese woman has mysteriously died in Malaysia.
Ni Ketut Nurhayati from Gitgit Village, Sukasada, Buleleng, was found dead in a hotel room on New Year eve (December 31,2025). The 39 years old woman was found bleedings with many injuries. Nuhayati was was found dead in a hotel room in Puchong area, Malaysia.

Luh Sri Mulyani, one of the victim’s relatives, said that Nurhayati was found dead in a hotel room covered in blood. Local police suspected that Nurhayati was murdered.
“(I got) the photo of the incident, where Mbak Nur (the victim) was still in the hotel room when she was first found and was still covered in blood covered in a blanket,” Sri said on Tuesday (7/1).
Luh Sri said that although her relative was found on New Year eve, the family in Bali received information about the incident on January 4, 2025. Luh Sri said that se was informed by the victim’s colleague in Malaysia.
She first got information from a whatsapp group among Malaysia migrant worker. The family later find out the detail to other Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia.
“Then I found out the truth, there was a friend of Nurhayanti (the victim) who confirmed it. She was contacted by the police in Malaysia and shown the photos and videos,” she added.
Currently, the family tried to repatriate the victim. Sri has also posted on social media regarding Nurhayati’s death and opened donations to repatriate the victim’s body as the family is experiencing financial constraints.
The victim’s body will be flown from Malaysia, Wednesday (8/1) at around 9 a.m Central Indonesia Time (WITA) and is expected to arrive in Denpasar at 11 a.m. the island of Bali at 11 a.m. WITA.
